Scholarships
The Bill Nicklas Memorial Foundation, in an effort to help deserving young men and women high school students obtain a college education, has established a scholarship fund. The Scholarship Committee will award scholarships to selected students who live in the Edmond community and are graduating from an Edmond high school with the intent to attend college. Applicants will be evaluated on academic performance, need and desire.
Eligibility
- Applicants must live in Edmond or attend school (public or private) in Edmond.
- Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited secondary school where he/she has shown excellence in leadership, scholarship and sportsmanship.
- Applicants must complete the attached scholarship application and write a 500-word essay on "Why you think a college education is important".
- Relatives of Selection Committe members are not eligible.
Directions for Applicant
- Complete the Application Form (PDF format).
- Attach letters of recommendation from 2 members of your high school faculty, staff or administration.
- Attach an official copy of your high school transcript.
- Completed applications, official transcripts, letters of recommendation, and all other paperwork must be received at the address below by April 30, 2011.
- Mail application to The Bill Nicklas Memorial Foundation.
